Core everything for the move to Berlin.
Yes, I’m also bringing: one pot and pan (All-Clad), two cutting boards, my handheld Dyson vacuum.
All this and one final cup of tea in San Francisco.

Blank Walls
Taking things down, uninstalling lights and electronics, and getting rid of a ton of stuff has been refreshing and easy. Spackling holes and doing touch up painting feels satisfying, like you’re leaving the place better than you found it.
The vision is to get rid of as much as possible and keep and store a few irreplaceable and sentimental items. This has been successful.
Then develop what I’m calling core clothing, core technology, core kitchen, and core office tools. That’s what’ll go in my suitcase and backpack for Berlin and for wherever I may be in the coming years.
